Brampton, Ontario
Sierra Peca is a Canadian artist and art historian. She has completed a bachelors degree in Art and Art History at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College, as well as a graduate degree in Art History at the University of Toronto with an interest in feminist and decolonial theory. With a focus on oil painting, Peca's art practice combines painting, drawing, print, and photography to reflect on her cultural identities, nostalgia, and banality. Though often exploring figures in situ, the artist also seeks to explore nature and textiles in more recent work.
